Cassette tapes are a a speical kind of nostalgic throw back.  but they are more.  I look to curate a mix of cool music released on tape with Japanese music being a strong focus.  Nothing quite like having "Magical" or "For You" or "Funky Stuff on a cassette tape.  Looks cool on a shelf and is a very portable copy of a great album.

But if you like zcity Pop on tape you might like an obscure Asian Synthsizer compilation. Or Global Surf And Garage Rock or London Rave Adverts 1991-1996.

And if those sound intriguing, you might also like "Slot Machine Music, Vol 1 & 2: Field Recordings From Middle American Casinos"
