Celebrating the 50th anniversary of his solo debut, this remaster features popular albums from the Kitty Years by Japan's leading guitarist, Takanaka Masayoshi. Takanaka Masayoshi is a driving force behind the recent global Japanese fusion boom, enjoying immense popularity not only in Japan but also in the West. Using high-resolution audio from the original master tapes, these albums were remastered and cut at Abbey Road Studios in London. All three albums were remastered and cut by renowned Abbey Road engineer Alex Wharton. Released on 180g heavyweight vinyl, each album is presented on colored vinyl, enhancing the image of the jacket artwork.

This live album captures the 1980-81 live tour, "POWER PLAY '80 & '81." "MEDLEY" features a lineup of Takanaka's hits, including "BELEZA PULA," "Tokyo Reggie," "TAJ MAHAL," and "MAMBO NO.5 (DISCO DANGO)," as well as tracks from the classic album "Rainbow Legend THE RAINBOW GOBLINS" and "TROPIC BIRDS" from his first album "SEYCHELLES," making this a record that truly showcases the charm of Takanaka's live performances.
