”Has there ever been such a thrilling and beautiful soundtrack? The pinnacle of cine jazz, worked on by the master craftsman Norio Maeda.”

The movie "3000 Kilometers of Trap" was released in 1971. Produced/starred by Jiro Tamiya and directed by Jun Fukuda, this work is a suspense action in which Mitsubishi Gallan GTO runs throughout the whole episode, as the catchphrase of "a sports car that runs from Kagoshima to Hokkaido, running through Japan vertically". It is a road movie that is often compared to American New Cinema's masterpiece "Banishing Point". The music was worked on by a master craftsman, Norio Maeda. A piano that brilliantly corners, a vibraphone that runs through dashingly, a bass that gallops powerfully, and a drum that raises gear. Dymanism and silence, obsession and desire, joy and sadness. The thrilling performance and beautiful melody bring out the charm of the movie to the fullest. Not only as a soundtrack, but also as an "Japanese jazz" at the time of 1971, it is an unusual quality. This much performance. It is a pity that the exact personality is not known, but the connection between Sound Limited (or The Third) led by Takeshi Inomata has been whispered for a long time.
