EVISBEATS will release his collaborative album with Nagipan, "Suiten," on November 11th (Tuesday) in three formats: LP, CD, and cassette. "Suiten" is a work that crystallizes the accumulation of dialogue and creativity that began when Nagipan moved to Wakayama in 2024, and EVISBEATS, who lives in the area, intersected with him. They continued to meet in the studio every week from January 2025. The title "Suiten" comes from the neologism "Suiten" left behind by Minakata Kumagusu, which means "a place where various things and events gather and influence each other." Through this word, EVISBEATS and Nagipan have reflected in sound the impressions they received from the climate, shrines, mountains and rivers of Wakayama, and the people who live there. The heat hidden in the stillness, the moments when different perspectives intersect, and the sounds that could only be born in that land rise up together with the warmth of dramatic, lo-fi hip hop. Transcending genres and time, gently touching the depths of emotion, "Suiten" is a record of "connection" in the modern age, a work that can be described as a sonic pilgrimage.
