"FLYING BEAGLE" released in 1987 by Japan's leading female keyboardist Himiko Kikuchi, who is at the world's top level, has been reissued on vinyl. She has performed with many artists, including Takuro Yoshida and Junko Ohashi, and was also a member of Nobuo Hara's Sharps & Flats and Minoya Central Station. She has also performed energetically with prestigious bands such as Masashi Matsumoto (g), and has released a constant stream of albums under her own name, including overseas recordings, since 1980. She is a legend in the crossover/fusion scene.
A masterpiece fusion album that brings together top musicians such as Himiko Kikuchi (p, key, synth, org), Masashi Matsumoto (g), Akira Okazawa (b), Naoki Watanabe (b), Kazuo Okamoto (ds), Yasushi Ichihara (ds), Yuichi Tokashiki (ds), Keiichi Ishibashi (b), Yoshikazu Kishi (tp), Kenji Yoshida (tp, flh), Michio Kagiwada (tb), JAKE H. CONCEPCION (as, fl), Hirofumi Kinjo (ts, fl), Masamoto Takano (bs), Yoshinori Nomi (perc), and other powerful rhythm sections from Spectrum and AB'S, as well as key members of prestigious groups such as Yuji Ohno's You & The Explosion Band and Toshigo Miki & Inner Galaxy Orchestra. A note about preorders:  When we offer albums for presale, we list the number of copies we have ordered from our distributors.

Typically, when we place an order, the shop is obligated to purchase those numbers of copies.  We consider these “confirmed copies” unless we hear otherwise.

Recent global economic events have created an environment that is less predictable. Some recent Japanese releases have ended up being allocated when labels have over sold or received more orders that projected.

Please know that we will continue to do everything in our power to fulfill orders that have been placed with us. In the event that the number of units we’ve ordered are not shipped to us, we will fulfill our orders “first in first out” with the earliest pre-orders being fulfilled first. Refunds will be processed for orders not able to be fulfilled.  So we wanted to share a slight caveat here.  However, we are in touch with distributors regularly to insure our orders are fulfilled.

We reserve the right to limit the number of units ordered and will refund the full fee for any copies we are unable to fulfill.
