Junk Fujiyama, leading the current city pop scene! Their latest original album following "DREAMIN'" and the cover album "Agokei Toshi City Pop Covers"!!
In March 2024, they released their first full cover album, "Akogyo Toshi City Pop Covers". After that, they released the digital single "Wonder History" on February 19th, following "Summer Mermaid" and "Tokyo highway disco drive".
The new song is a groovy song with a longing voice, an emotional world view, and an 80's taste with an uplifting synth riff. It was provided by producer, arranger, and bassist Ryuta Sakamoto, who is also known as the bandmaster of Suga Shikao and has worked on Junk's popular songs "Ano Sora no Mukou gawa e", "To The Sky", and "Kaze ni Naru".
The lyrics and track production were handled by Itsuki Kamiya, the sound creator of island etc., with whom they have been working together in recent years. A music video that vividly depicts positive emotions has also been released.
The new album is based on a catchy '80s' sound, and fuses impressive melodies, a pop and happy sound with an emotional and relaxed singing voice. It delivers a contemporary city pop work.
