Switch on for fun! In the mid-70s, Kikaida became a statewide hit in Hawaii. It was one of several Japanese superhero shows aired in the Aloha State, but it had the biggest impact. It was aired in Japanese with English subtitles. Kikaida 01, the sequel was also aired. This led to stage shows on the islands, and many fond memories.
