This album sounds like Ra Ra Riot meets ELO but in a Japanese, fusion-y eay. Seriously. This is a good time. Standouts include “Explosion” “Blue Lagoon” and a tight version of “Taj Mahal” which was the inspiration on Rod Stewarts “Do You Think I’m Sexy” which was essentially a cover. Scoop this Japanese yacht rock classic now and thank me this summer. This new pressing will be released in June of 2025 on lime yellow vinyl.
