To celebrate the opening of its Shibuya tasting room, Portland-based tea company Smith Tea released a limited edition tea called “Tokyo Twilight.” This tea is the first of their “City Series” of teas inspired by cities around the world.
A tea of unique character, Smith Tea offers this fresh take on sencha balanced with green rooibos, lively lemon peel and herbaceous juniper and lavender. Balanced and bright, perfect for that tender moment between day and night.
Ingredients: Sencha, green rooibos, juniper (cracked), tulsi, lavender and lemon peel.
Tasting Notes:Balsam fir, grapefruit, beeswax
For best flavor, bring spring or freshly drawn filtered water to 185 degrees (85 degrees Celsius). Steep one sachet for three minutes and don‰۪t miss your train.
