Half a century after his brilliant debut in "Magic Yellow Shoes" in 1972.
Hit works such as "The Journey of the Heart" (1973), "Silver Ring", "Shadow of Youth" (1974), "Cactus Flower" (1975), "The Time of Rainbow and Sneakers" (1979) were released one after another.
He has established his position as a pioneer of Japanese rock by infusing a new wind of pop (& rock) into the Japanese music scene, where folk and song songs were the mainstream. Countless young people were captivated by the new music that combined British musical sense and Japanese emotions at a high level.
Colorful flowers are still blooming half a century later from the large footprints left on the heart of the tea age at that time.

This year, the 50th anniversary of Tulip's debut, the debut album "Magic Yellow Shoes" was remastered at Abbey Road Studio in London. Cutting is also done at Abbey Road, and it is reissued in yellow color 180g weight LP and high-quality SHM-CD. The TULIP TIMES and large-format posters that were attached to the original album are also reprinted. Moreover, it is reprinted to the belt of the phantom 1st press.
Reprint of the debut single "Magic Yellow Shoes" and the phantom single EP "My Little Life" released in 1971, a year before the official debut. The EP "My Little Life" will be the first CD release.
In addition, the live sound source on March 3, 1972, when Tulip first took the stage in 1972 after going to Tokyo, was upgraded and recorded as much as possible. This will be the first commercial launch. In addition, "Chiihoakimori's song" was included from the live sound source in Fukuoka in 1970 just before going to Tokyo.
All sound sources were remastered at Abbey Road Studio.
A total of 40P photo books, including unpublished photos, and a tulip pamphlet that was only distributed to related parties at the time of debut were also reprinted.
I wonder if there was a work in the past that was so particular about the shocking debut of Tulip, a super band that changed the history of Japan!
